These views should give an idea of the progress at the display site.

Projects

  • General site clean up
  • Remove all trash & debris from site
  • Trim trees and remove dead branches
  • Track laying
    • Locate more ties.
    • Locate switch for spur track
    • Begin construction of spur to south of main track.
    • level ground and install 4 panels of track from Brighton
    • Move C&S 1771 and PSC 1 to this track.
    • Select display site for PSC crane #1 and build track, using 133lb rail.
  • IBM track removal
    • Remove rail, joint bars, spikes and tie plates from IBM spur.

To get there:

The site is located at Valmont & Indian Roads, to get there take Valmont Road east to 61st street, then turn left on 61st. Just after you cross the RR tracks (paved over), take the first left which is Indian Road. Follow Indian road to the railroad equipment.
