Steam Crane

Public Service Company of Colorado Steam Crane #1

History:

This locomotice crane was purchased by Public Service in 1921 and used in the construction of Valmont Power Plant. Once that plant was completed it was used for many tasks around the plant, including cleaning ash from the boilers.

Not operational.
  • Move to Valmont Display Site.
  • Replace cab windows and walkways.
  • Replace smokestack and other missing parts.
  • Repaint and re-letter.
